Adivantech (Pvt) Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Studyo mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using Studyo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the App. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

a) Account Information

When you sign up or sign in, we collect:

• Your email address (via Firebase Authentication)
• Your name and profile photo URL (only if you choose to sign in with Google)

b) Content You Create in the App

• Subjects you add (name, color, icon)
• Exams you add (name, date)
• Study sessions logged by the focus timer
• Flashcard decks and cards you create
• Streak and progress data

c) Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your location.
• We do not collect your contacts, photos, files, or camera data.
• We do not use third-party advertising or analytics services.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only to:

• Create and secure your account
• Save and sync your subjects, exams, sessions, and flashcards
• Show your progress, streaks, and countdowns
• Send you on-device reminders for study sessions and exams
• Provide customer support when you contact us

4. How Your Information Is Stored

• All account and app data is stored on Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), operated by Google LLC.
• Data is transmitted using industry-standard HTTPS encryption.
• Data is scoped to your individual account — other users cannot see your data.
• On-device settings and preferences are stored locally on your device.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any third party for their own use.

The only "sharing" that occurs is with the service providers required to run the App:

• Google Firebase — for authentication and database hosting
• Google Sign-In — only if you choose this sign-in method

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies.

6. Notifications

Studyo uses on-device (local) notifications to remind you about study sessions and upcoming exams. These notifications are generated by your device and are not sent from our servers. You can disable them at any time in your device's system settings.

7. Children's Privacy

Studyo is intended for users 16 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at contact@adivantech.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access the data associated with your account
• Correct inaccurate information (by editing it in the App)
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent by uninstalling the App and requesting deletion

9. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, your data is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days. Backup copies (if any) are overwritten in the normal course of Firebase's operations.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Firebase Authentication for account security
• Access controls limiting who on our team can view backend data

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

11. International Users

Studyo is operated from Pakistan and uses Google Firebase servers, which may store data in the United States or other countries where Google operates. By using the App, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in those countries.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Continued use of Studyo after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
